The 10th Congress of Philosophy and Social Sciences Circles of Jiangsu Province opened in Nanjing on December 26, 2025. Xin Changxing, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress, and Hu Bin, Director of the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Liu Xiaotao, Governor of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, and Zhang Yizhen, Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC)，were present. The meeting was also attended by leading officials from the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress, and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. At the congress, certificates were presented to the representative awardees of the 18th Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Achievements Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences.
As the highest honor in the field of philosophy and social sciences in Jiangsu, the Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Achievements Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences is conferred biennially. A total of 11 scholars were invited to receive the awards as representatives in this selection, and Professor An Tongliang, Dean of Business School, took the stage to accept the award as the representative of the economic discipline.
